We now rejoin our mind controlling hero at an author reading and signing event.  An established author can make a great deal of money by doing appearances like these at a library or bookstore. For Jerry the self-published author touting a book in the eclectic genre of mind control, he will barely make back his expenses. But for his real objective of attracting women, that is sufficient.

“My mind used to be a cozy home where I lived my comfortable life.” At the podium, Jerry reads a segment of dialog from the end of one of his new mind control fiction stories. The character he is quoting had been victimized by a mind controlling. “Now a burglar has the proven ability to break into my most secure mental place and steal whatever he wants.”

“How will I ever safe in my own brain again?” Jerry’s eyes scan the small audience to observe the reactions, especially from the attractive women, to both his mind control fiction story and himself. He sighs heavily as he closes the book. This performance had not been just a casual reading, it had been a carefully crafted speech he had rehearsed. And while he had been reciting his mind control story, his eyes had been reading the faces and body language of his targeted female listeners.

I feel sorry for the female victims and fearful with them too.”

“Then my mind control fiction is a best performer. My intent was to make you feel,” Jerry places a hand on her upper arm and he strokes gently, “empathy.”

“And what about my first question.” Unconsciously, the attractive woman leans into his friendly seeming caress. She is already fairly attracted to him.

“That’s a pool far too deep to dive into here.” He nudges her affable twice before removing his touch from her shoulder. “We can find a more intimate place to discuss it.”

“Yes.” The lady breaths. She has felt more than the empathy for the mind controlled victims. Kim has also felt a growing affinity for the writer: she doesn’t know how to explain the attraction. Jerry the fiction author certainly doesn’t seem the type of guy she is normally attracted to.
